I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The room was huge and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hostel is only a 5-minute walk from the beach, which was perfect. The owner was very nice and always ready to help me genuinely, which is a good thing in Egypt. The location is great, with a huge Carrefour supermarket close by.
Nothing to mention.

The Sea Waves Hostel in Hurghada is a hidden gem with an Egyptian-style atmosphere. the twin beds with warm blankets provided a comfy stay, and the small breakfast included was a nice touch. the hostel's proximity to the beach made it convenient to enjoy some sun and sand. Despite the staff's limited English proficiency, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. the cozy lounge with comfortable sofas and the rooftop area added to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
Felt right at home, no reasons to complain.

the owner, Hany, was incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to satisfy his guests. the hostel had a welcoming atmosphere and was reasonably clean. the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was effective. the rooftop terrace provided a nice spot to catch the sunset, although there was no sea view. the breakfast offered omelettes, bread, jam, and 'dairylee' cheese. the location was convenient, with El Dahar 'town centre' just a 5-10 minute walk away and a public beach nearby. Cons: No issues 😊.

Enjoyed their "free Wi-Fi in all areas" so much that I practically lived on my phone during my stay. Who needs human interaction when you have Wi-Fi?
Oh, I just loved how the beds in the dormitory doubled as a convenient barbecue. Nothing like the smell of grilled meat while trying to sleep.

Hany, the hostel owner, was helpful, friendly, and gave great tips. Clean bathroom and floors. Amazing sunset views from the roof terrace. Family-like atmosphere due to small size. Great location near the beach and dive center. Extra bedding for winter nights.
Nothing to fault.

The staff were amazing, arranging late-night takeaway, diving trips, and holding bags. The hostel had a cozy, clean atmosphere, with a nearby beach and dive center. The owner went above and beyond, making us feel welcome and assisting with bookings and airport transfers. The comfortable bed, spacious room, and access to a nearby supermarket were added bonuses.

The bed and blanket were super cozy and comfortable, and the room was spacious with its own bathroom. The availability of a kitchen in the neighboring house and free water and an electric kettle next door were a great bonus. The rooftop was a sunny and enjoyable hangout spot, and having a big supermarket nearby was very convenient.

I traveled to relax from work stress and had a great, unplanned experience at Sea Waves. The hostel had a quiet atmosphere, perfect for enjoying coffee on the terrace under the sun. I met friendly guests and made new friends to explore and dine with. The location is ideal, with easy access to Carrefour, the city center, and a local market for affordable fresh produce. The room was comfortable and the owner, Hani, went above and beyond to ensure my privacy and even refunded me the owed money.
Recommend this hotel.

Great, I stayed at a hostel that offers free Wi-Fi in all areas. They even had a barbecue, so I could pretend to be a master chef. Just a tiny downside, couldn't find a single power socket in my entire room. How convenient!

The value for money at Sea Waves was great! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location near the public beach was perfect. The staff, especially Hani, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable and helped me arrange amazing activities like a dive course and tours to Cairo and Luxor. I always felt safe and had a fantastic time exploring the old city on my own.
Breakfast selection could have been better with more variety.
